Country House, Creemore ON

Country homes can be tricky, because people are so often tempted by charming clichés that ignore who they are. But with this new build, I could take a fresh approach, literally from the ground up. The result puts its cosmopolitan owners at ease without betraying their sense of style. A softer palette and an emphasis on airy spaces and comfortable, social seating make it the bucolic escape they hoped for, but with clean lines and groovy accents that, for them, feel like home. Then, lavish windows in every important room let nature do the rest.
